James Cluskey

Head of Sport


James leads the sports desk in Mason Alexander, specialising in the recruitment for governing bodies, sport related companies and advising athletes on career transition. James is a former professional tennis player with 15 professional doubles titles. He also played Davis Cup for Ireland from 2006-2015. He has an extensive network and has coached some of the world’s leading business figures including Sir Richard Branson.

Rob Kearney

Non-Executive Director


Rob is a founding member of Mason Alexander and is currently a non-executive director. His role focuses on high level client relationships in Ireland and internationally, which is underpinned by his extensive business network.

Rob currently holds two other non-executive directorships as well as the position of Chairman of IRUPA, which looks after the welfare of over 95% of professional rugby players in Ireland.

David McHugh

Strategic Advisor


David is a sports marketing professional with over 20 years of hands on experience managing athletes, working with brands in sponsorship, communications & strategic consultancy.

David is experienced as a mentor and life skills specialist, working with high performance sports & professional sports as well as brands, agencies and rights holders.

Andrew Lynch

Chief Executive Officer


Andrew founded Mason Alexander in 2013, and since then has delivered a number of highly successful mandates for clients within corporate finance, private equity, venture capital and Irish plc’s amongst others.

Andrew has a broad and diverse professional network, which allows his client’s to unlock the best possible results, ensuring their continued success.

Andrew also sits on the board of his alma mater’s past pupil Union, Clongowes Wood College, and is the youngest President in its history.

Pierce Casey



Pierce is an entrepreneur and private equity specialist and is a past director of DCC, Apax Partners & Co. and Alchemy Venture Partners Ltd. He has been founder chairman of several successful businesses, a number of which subsequently floated in London and Frankfurt, including Fayrewood plc, ComputerLinks AG and Imprint plc.

Pierce is a Chartered Accountant, and has a successful record of co-founding, chairing and disposing of recruitment companies, including Walker Hamill Limited and Imprint plc. He is also former Chairman of the listed UK headhunter Norman Broadbent plc.
